The article considers a problem of diffraction of electromagnetic wave on nonplanar screen located on free space. The problem is reduced to integral equation. The author considers the basic functions of the “Rooftop” and proves a theorem of approximation. The researcher also considers application of the subhierarchical method for solving integral equations and presents the numerical results.
